Marist had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 2 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They put the hurt on the North Springs Spartans with a sharp 8-0 victory. The War Eagles' defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three contests.

Marist's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for North Springs, they dropped their record down to 0-5 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Marist will take on Lithonia at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for North Springs, they will welcome Druid Hills at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
