Soccer Game Preview: Edison vs. Harrison Central

Edison is on a four-game streak of home losses, and Harrison Central a four-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Saturday. The Edison Wildcats will be playing at home against the Harrison Central Huskies at 12:00 p.m. Edison has given up an average of 5.6 goals per game this season, but Saturday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Edison is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to five goals last Wednesday, they were much more limited against Jefferson County Christian on Monday. They lost 5-1 to the Royals.

Edison's goal came courtesy of Gage Hennis, who's now up to three this season.

Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 1-1 at halftime, Harrison Central was not quite Sandy Valley's equal in the second half on Thursday. They fell just short of the Cardinals by a score of 2-1.

Harrison Central's loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Edison, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-9.
