Baseball Game Preview: West Branch Warriors vs. South Range Raiders

The West Branch Warriors will face off against the South Range Raiders at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. West Branch will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

West Branch is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They were the clear victors by a 15-2 margin over Columbiana on Monday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Meanwhile, South Range had just enough and edged out Girard 6-4 on Monday. The victory continues a trend for the Raiders in their matchups with the Indians: they've now won four in a row.

South Range's win bumped their record up to 15-9. As for West Branch, their victory bumped their record up to 10-13.

West Branch couldn't quite finish off South Range in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 and fell 14-12. Can the Warriors avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
