            The Williamson Warriors will head out to  challenge the Cowanesque Valley Indians  at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Both come into the  contest bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
Williamson is coming into the  match on the come-up as their  season has now been buoyed by two straight  wins. They came out on top against North Penn-Liberty by a score of  38-25  on Tuesday.
Williamson's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Kenna Thomas, who  posted ten points and six  boards. Another player making a difference was  Maddy Jones, who  had nine  points along with six  rebounds and five  assists.
 Williamson  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with ten  offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  pulled down at least ten  offensive rebounds in three consecutive  games.
 Meanwhile,  winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Cowanesque Valley). They breezed by Sayre to the tune of  65-30 on Tuesday. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Indians just coasted through the last quarter.
 The  win snapped Cowanesque Valley's losing streak at four games  and leaves them with a 5-6 record. As for Williamson, their victory  ended  a  four-game drought at home  and  bumped them up to 6-12.
 Williamson came up short against Cowanesque Valley in their previous matchup  back in January, falling  56-47. Can Williamson avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
