Softball Recap: Iowa City Takes a Loss

The Iowa City Little Hawks came up short against the Fort Dodge Dodgers on Friday, falling 8-1.

Iowa City now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Fort Dodge, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-8 record this season.

Iowa City will head out to square off against Cedar Falls at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Fort Dodge, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 5-0 victory against Ankeny on the 28th.
