Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mark Twain). They put the hurt on the South Shelby Cardinals with a sharp 14-4 win on Wednesday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Tigers needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

Mark Twain's victory bumped their record up to 3-6. As for South Shelby, their loss was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-6.

Looking ahead, Mark Twain will host Van-Far at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for South Shelby, they are taking a road trip to square off against Monroe City at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
