Soccer Recap: Burroughs Takes a Loss

Burroughs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss. They lost 8-0 to the Apple Valley Sun Devils. While losing is never fun, the Burros can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 1095th, while the Sun Devils are ranked 36th).

Burroughs' defeat dropped their record down to 0-20-1. As for Apple Valley, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 16-0-2.

Burroughs wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 4-0 loss against Serrano on the 5th. As for Apple Valley, they have also already played their next game, a 3-1 win against Sultana on the 5th.
