Recap: Interlake Saints vs. Evergreen Wolverines
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Hazen, The Interlake Saints were happy to have found some success on Friday. They blew past Evergreen 39-7 at home. The high flying offensive effort was a huge turnaround for Interlake's six-point performance the match before.
Interlake's win bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Evergreen, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their overall record down to 2-6.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Interlake will face off against Kingswood at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Kingswood comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 12 points in their last four games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse. As for Evergreen, they will head out on the road to face off against Stadium at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Stadium is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.
