Softball Recap: Lamoni Comes Up Short

Lamoni lost against Seymour last Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Demons came up short against the Warriors, falling 11-1. The Demons just can't catch a break and have now endured five defeats in a row.

Lamoni's loss dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Seymour, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season.

Lamoni will be playing at home against Sidney on Monday. The Demons are facing the Cowboys at the right time seeing as the Cowboys are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Seymour, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against Murray on the 3rd.
