            Volleyball Recap: Reed-Custer Comets vs. Wilmington Wildcats        
        
		
        
        
            Reed-Custer was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Thursday as the team picked up their 11th straight  loss. They took  a  2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wilmington Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  2-0  back in September.
 The match finished with set scores of 25-21,  25-13.
 Wilmington can attribute much of their success to  Sami Liaromatis, who  had 12  digs and three  aces. That's the most  aces  Liaromatis has posted  over her last eight  contests.
Reed-Custer's defeat dropped their record down to 3-26. As for Wilmington, they have  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won 16 of their last 17 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-3 record  this season.
 We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Reed-Custer will  challenge  rival Lisle  at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Wilmington is set to  square off against  their familiar foe Coal City  at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
