Basketball Recap: Conemaugh Township Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Conemaugh Township was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 39-31 to the Homer-Center Wildcats. The Indians were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2024.

When it comes to explaining why Conemaugh Township lost, don't look at Mayce Kordell. Despite the final result, she posted 16 points in addition to five rebounds and three steals. Kordell is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in each of the last five games she's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Gina Hagan, who scored five points and five boards.

Conemaugh Township's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Homer-Center, the win got them back to even at 1-1.
