Soccer Game Preview: Centennial vs. Firebaugh

The Centennial Apaches and the Firebaugh Falcons will compete for holiday cheer at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Centennial's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Two weeks ago, neither Centennial nor Dominguez could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, Firebaugh had to endure a three-match losing streak, but that streak is no more. They played to a draw too, finishing 0-0 against Fairfax. The result was nothing new for Firebaugh as the team haven't won a game since December 2nd.

Firebaugh's draw makes their record 2-5-2 this season. As for Centennial, they moved theirs to 0-2-2.
