Soccer Game Preview: Tehachapi vs. South

The Tehachapi Warriors will head out to face off against the South Spartans at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Tehachapi will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

If South heads into halftime all tied up, they better play a good second half: that's when Tehachapi took over last week. Tehachapi came out on top against Golden Valley by a score of 3-1 on Friday.

Meanwhile, South kept a clean sheet against East Bakersfield last Friday. They blew past the Blades 3-0. Considering the Spartans have won four matchups by more than two goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Tehachapi has also been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5-2 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 41 goals over those six contests. As for South, they now have a winning record of 5-4-3.
