Soccer Game Preview: Mojave vs. Mammoth

Mojave is 0-10 against Mammoth since December of 2016 but things could change on Thursday. The Mustangs will host the Huskies at 3:00 p.m. Mojave has given up an average of 9.8 goals per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Mojave's offense. They lost 12-0 to Kern Valley on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Mammoth's game on Tuesday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Bishop Union. The loss continues a trend for Mammoth in their meetings with Bishop Union: they've now lost seven in a row.

Mojave's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Mammoth, their loss dropped their record down to 4-7-1.

Mojave suffered a grim 9-0 defeat to Mammoth when the teams last played back in December of 2023. Can the Mustangs avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
