Clairemont was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 38-5 loss at the hands of the Canyon Hills Rattlers . Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Chieftains this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 48-6 back in January.

Canyon Hills' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Anayla Saulo, who posted six points along with seven rebounds and three steals. Saulo is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last five games she's played. Natalie Mihajlovic was another key player, putting up seven points and three steals.

Clairemont's loss dropped their record down to 2-18. As for Canyon Hills, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-8.

Clairemont is facing Mission Bay at the right time seeing as Mission Bay is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Canyon Hills, they will face off against Lincoln at 5:45 p.m. on Monday. Canyon Hills' defense has only allowed 30 points per game this season, so Lincoln's offense will have their work cut out for them.
