Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Grovetown). They were the clear victor by an 11-5 margin over the South Gwinnett Comets on Friday. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Comets recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Brodie Combs made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He struck out ten batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and four unearned) runs off two hits (and only one walk). Those ten strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 3-for-4.
