Soccer Recap: Toombs County Has No Trouble Against Claxton

After failing to score in their last matchup, Toombs County made sure to put some goals up on the board against Claxton on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 4-0 margin over the Claxton Tigers. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by four goals or more this season.

They hit Claxton with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Angel Morales, Alejandro Tinoco, Juan Luna, and Aaron TInoco.

Toombs County's win bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Claxton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-5.

Looking ahead, Toombs County will challenge Dodge County at 7:30 p.m. on March 21st. Toombs County is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.7 goals per game this season. As for Claxton, they have already played their next game, a 9-0 victory against Bryan County on the 18th.
