It was a good run, but Verdigris unfortunately witnessed the end of their nine-game winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of the Glenpool Warriors by a score of 5-4. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 on Friday.

Verdigris' defeat dropped their record down to 23-8. As for Glenpool, they pushed their record up to 22-14 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Warriors beat Verdigris by a score of 2-0 later that day.
