Soccer Game Preview: Torres vs. Bravo

Torres hasn't had much luck against Bravo recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Toros will head out on the road to take on the Knights at 4:00 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Torres managed to slip by Garfield the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Toros came up short against the Bulldogs last Thursday, falling 10-1. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Torres were already down 6-0.

Meanwhile, Bravo had to start their season on the road last Monday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell just short of Maywood CES by a score of 2-1. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last seven times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Torres now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Bravo, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.

Torres might still be hurting after the 7-0 loss they got from Bravo when the teams last played back in December of 2023. Can the Toros avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
