There's no place like home for Gunnison, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They put the hurt on the Aspen Skiers with a sharp 12-0 victory on Tuesday. The Cowboys have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Skiers, too.

Kaylee Vincent was excellent, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with three runs. Lauren Cowan also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Gunnison hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They are 4-2 when they post two or more strikeouts.

Gunnison's win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-11. As for Aspen, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-13.

Gunnison will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Skiers: the pair will be back at it again later today.
