Softball Recap: Mid-Buchanan Comes Up Short in High-Profile Matchup with Rock Bridge

Mid-Buchanan faced Rock Bridge in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Dragons fell 7-3 to the Bruins. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bruins this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 17-7 on Friday.

Mid-Buchanan has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-5 record this season. As for Rock Bridge, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.

Mid-Buchanan has already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Belton on the 13th. As for Rock Bridge, they will head out to take on Jefferson City at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
