Softball Recap: Walton Find Success

Walton proved they can win big last Thursday (they won by 16) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won by a run and slipped past the East Forsyth Broncos 5-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Raiders have posted since August 19th.

Walton's win bumped their record up to 13-7. As for East Forsyth, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-10 record this season.

Coincidentally, Walton and East Forsyth will both be playing Lassiter the next time they take the field. The Broncos will head out to face the Trojans at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Raiders will play them later in the day, at 2:00 p.m.
