Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask South Allegheny). They blew past the Steel Valley Ironmen 52-28 on Thursday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Gladiators as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

South Allegheny's victory bumped their record up to 3-12. As for Steel Valley, they dropped their record down to 1-14 with the defeat, which was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Allegheny will challenge Non Varsity Opponent at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Steel Valley, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Deer Lakes at 6:00 p.m.
