Softball Recap: Essex Comes Up Short

Essex was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 20th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 14-2 to East Mills. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Trojans have suffered against East Mills since June 22, 2020.

Essex's loss dropped their record down to 0-19. As for East Mills, their victory ended a 17-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-18.

Essex didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 12-4 defeat against Mount Ayr on the 7th. As for East Mills, they have also already played their next game, a 13-3 loss against Lenox on the 7th.
