Volleyball Recap: Eagle River Comes Up Short

Eagle River lost against Chugiak back in November of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Wolves fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 1-0.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Eagle River sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The final score came out to 25-22.

Eagle River's loss was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Chugiak, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-1.

Eagle River has already played their next game, a 1-0 victory against Palmer on the 23rd. As for Chugiak, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 1-0 win against West Anchorage on the 23rd.
