Baseball Game Preview: Hardaway Hawks vs. Chattahoochee County Panthers

The Hardaway Hawks will head out on the road to take on the Chattahoochee County Panthers at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hardaway will be strutting in after a win while Chattahoochee County will be coming in after a loss.

While Hawks fans will have to keep waiting for their team to come home, they shouldn't be too worried about the road trip considering the result of Monday's season opener. They blew past Monroe 18-2 on Monday.

Jayden Foster made a splash while hitting and pitching. He struck out seven batters over 4.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off five hits. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in strikeouts. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

In other batting news, Christian Eleby was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three runs, four RBI, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Nick Hudson, who scored two runs and stole four bases while going 1-for-3.

Meanwhile, Chattahoochee County unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They came up short against Manchester on Monday, falling 15-0.
