Soccer Recap: Don Bosco Comes Up Short

Don Bosco was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 6-0 to the Aplington-Parkersburg Falcons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Aplington-Parkersburg this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-0 on April 11th.

Don Bosco's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Aplington-Parkersburg, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-1-1 record this season.

Don Bosco wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 7-0 loss against Hudson on the 2nd. As for Aplington-Parkersburg, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 6-0 win against Columbus on the 30th.
