Softball Recap: Spiro Comes Up Short

Spiro was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 11-5 to the Kansas Comets. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Comets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-0 on Wednesday.

Spiro's defeat dropped their record down to 1-20. As for Kansas, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-9 record this season.

As of now, neither Spiro nor Kansas have any future games scheduled.
