Basketball Recap: Calvary Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Calvary Christian Academy lost against Johnstown Christian back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Calvary Christian Academy Conquerors were dealt a 61-22 defeat at the hands of the Johnstown Christian Bluejays. The Conquerors were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 31-11.

Calvary Christian Academy's loss came despite strong showings from Olivia Mills and Eva Penning. Mills posted eight points along with 12 rebounds and three steals, while Penning dropped a double-double on 12 points and 12 boards. Penning is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last ten games she's played dating back to last season.
