Basketball Recap: Royal Takes a Loss

Royal was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They came up short against the Castaic Coyotes, falling 45-24.

Royal's defeat dropped their record down to 3-21. As for Castaic, with the win, they broke their ten-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-16.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Royal won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Hueneme at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Royal is facing Hueneme at the right time seeing as Hueneme is stuck on a 13-game losing streak. As for Castaic, they will challenge Hart at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The timing is sure in Hart's favor as the team sits on six straight wins at home while Castaic has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
