If Lee County was feeling good fresh off their 34-6 takedown of Western Harnett last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Yellow Jackets lost 35-14 to the South Johnston Trojans on Friday. The Yellow Jackets' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Although Lee County took the loss, they still got scores from Cody Graham and Destry Smith.

Lee County's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 4-3. As for South Johnston, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-3.
