North Carolina High School Football - South Johnston over Lee County

October 10, 2025: Four Oaks, NC 27524

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the South Johnston Trojans (Four Oaks, NC) and the visiting Lee County Yellow Jackets (Sanford, NC), witnessed South Johnston's football squad knock off Lee County by a tally of 35-14.

The Trojans (4-3) will now prepare for their bout against Western Harnett (Lillington, NC). The Eagles go into the Carolina Pines 6A bout with a 3-4 record. In their last bout, Western Harnett was topped by Triton (Erwin, NC), 41-22, in a league bout.

The Yellow Jackets now own a 4-3 record. They play next when they host Harnett Central for a Carolina Pines 6A bout on Friday, October 17. Lee County will confront a Trojans team coming off a 14-6 league loss to West Johnston (Benson, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 4-3.
