Basketball Recap: Southern Fulton Extends Winning Streak to Three

Southern Fulton had won two straight games and Claire Harvey did her part to make it three on Monday. The Southern Fulton Indians blew past Forbes Road 56-29 thanks in part to Harvey, who went 10 for 25 en route to 30 points in addition to eight rebounds and seven steals. That makes it nine consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Southern Fulton's points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Mae Hoopengardner, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten boards. Those 12 points gave her a new career-high.

Southern Fulton now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Forbes Road, their loss dropped their record down to 7-13.

Southern Fulton will take on Fannett Metal at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Forbes Road, they will square off against Shade at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
