Baseball Recap: Delcastle Technical Takes a Loss

Delcastle Technical extended their losing streak to three on Saturday, dropping them down to 1-18. They came up short against the Odyssey Charter Owls, falling 15-5. The Cougars were not able to make up for their loss to the Owls from their previous meeting back in April of 2025.

Delcastle Technical saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nathan Ulrich, who went 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI. That home run marked the first that Ulrich has launched this season.

As for Odyssey Charter, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-10 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.5 runs over those games.

On Odyssey Charter's side, Santino Noel made a splash while hitting and pitching. He struck out seven batters over five innings while giving up four earned (and one unearned) runs off five hits. Noel was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with three RBI and one run. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in May of 2025.

Delcastle Technical does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Odyssey Charter, they will challenge Tower Hill at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Hillers' pitching crew has only allowed 3.4 runs per game this season, so the Owls' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
