After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Sonoraville, North Cobb Christian was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They never let the Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe Warriors get on the board and left with a 13-0 victory. The Eagles' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Faith Sonnenberg was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over five innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI. That triple was her first of the season.

In other batting news, Kate Edwards was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Those three hits gave her a new career-high. Hayden Pugh was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base.

North Cobb Christian always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .600. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
