Baseball Game Preview: Hebron Christian Lions vs. Franklin County Lions

For the second straight game, Hebron Christian will face off against Franklin County. Hebron Christian will square off against Franklin County at 5:55 p.m. on Wednesday. Hebron Christian is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.5 runs per game this season.

Hebron Christian took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand Franklin County a 10-0 shutout. Hebron Christian not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since March 17th.

Dean Livingston made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits over five innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Hebron Christian is 7-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 8-11 otherwise. Livingston was also big at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Barrett Bruce, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI and one double. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. Brodie Lewis was another key player, scoring two runs while going 1-for-3.

With the win, Hebron Christian broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 15-12. As for Franklin County, their defeat dropped their record down to 19-7.
