Softball Recap: Allatoona Takes a Loss

Allatoona was the 5-0 winner over Cass when they last played one another back in August, but their luck changed this time around. The Buccaneers fell just short of the Colonels by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. That's two games in a row now that the Buccaneers have lost by just one run.

Allatoona is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-4. As for Cass, their victory was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-4.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Allatoona is set to challenge their familiar foe Woodland at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Cass will face off against rival Dalton at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
