Basketball Recap: Veritas Academy Wins Going Away Against Lancaster County Christian

Veritas Academy lost to Lancaster County Christian back in January, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Veritas Academy Monarch enjoyed a cozy 50-35 victory over the Lancaster County Christian Lions. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Monarch.

Loss or not, Lancaster County Christian got some senior leadership from Alicia Fisher and Faith Urenovitch. Fisher dropped a double-double on 19 points and 12 rebounds, while Urenovitch posted eight points in addition to eight assists and six steals.

Veritas Academy now has a winning record of 2-1.

Veritas Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 37-35 win against Christian School of York on the 9th. Lancaster County Christian has also already played their next contest, a 30-29 defeat against Calvary Christian Academy on the 6th.
