Scott posted their closest victory since May 17, 2025 on Monday. They had just enough and edged out the Bishop Brossart Mustangs 3-2. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Mustangs recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Ty Cook spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on three hits and racked up 12 Ks. He is becoming a predictor of Scott's success: when he posts at least eight strikeouts the team is undefeated (and 13-18 when he doesn't).

At the plate, Scott let Andy Reed and Eli Smith run wild. Reed went 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI, while Smith went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Scott's victory bumped their record up to 16-18. As for Bishop Brossart, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-20.

As of now, neither Scott nor the Mustangs have any future games scheduled.
