Recap: Penns Valley Area Rams vs. Tyrone Golden Eagles
Even though the Penns Valley Area Rams have not done well against the Tyrone Golden Eagles recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. Penns Valley Area snuck past Tyrone with a 45-40 win. The win made it back-to-back wins for Penns Valley Area.
Penns Valley Area's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Scotty Dinges led the charge by scoring 14 points along with 4 steals. The game was Dinges' third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Elle Dinges, who scored 17 points.
Penns Valley Area now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Tyrone, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Penns Valley Area will be playing at home against Westmont Hilltop at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Tyrone will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Clearfield at 7:30 p.m. on December 20th.
