Softball Recap: Lanier Takes a Loss

Lanier and Jackson County squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Lanier had to settle for second. They fell 9-4 to the Panthers. The Longhorns haven't had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Lanier's defeat dropped their record down to 13-15. As for Jackson County, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 20-5.

As of now, neither Lanier nor the Panthers have any future games scheduled.
