Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Edison). They never let the McNair Eagles onto the board and left with a 4-0 victory on Thursday. Considering the Vikings have won three contests by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit McNair with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Joceyln Echeverria, Natalie Gomar, Lucero Zuniga-Lopez, and Quetzalli Campos.

Edison is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 3-6-1 record this season. As for McNair, they dropped their record down to 2-8-2 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Edison and McNair could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps California Rankings. Edison (ranked 697th) will meet Franklin (ranked 252nd) at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Similarly, McNair will face off against Bear Creek at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday down 579 places (977 vs. 398).
