Softball Recap: First Preparatory Christian Academy Comes Up Short

First Preparatory Christian Academy lost against Twiggs Academy back in August and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Highlanders lost 14-5 to the Trojans.

Abigail Nadeau made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. That triple marked the first that she has hit this season. Another player making a difference was Hannah-Grace Causey, who went 1-for-2 with one triple and one run.

First Preparatory Christian Academy's record now sits at 0-16. As for Twiggs Academy, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. First Preparatory Christian Academy will host Citizens Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Highlanders' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Patriots have averaged an impressive 9.4 runs per game this season. As for Twiggs Academy, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Fullington Academy at 4:00 p.m.
