Baseball Recap: Windber Extends Winning Streak to Four

Windber had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They came out on top against the Conemaugh Township Indians by a score of 5-2 on Friday. The victory was nothing new for the Ramblers as they're now sitting on four straight.

Ike Serenko spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on seven hits and racked up six Ks.

On the hitting side, Cole Heinrich was excellent, going 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Logan Serenko, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one run.

Windber's win bumped their record up to 16-6. As for Conemaugh Township, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 19-1.

As of now, neither Windber nor the Indians have any future games scheduled.
