Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Davenport). They blew past the Beggs Demons 19-3 on Thursday. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won seven contests by eight runs or more so far this season.

Davenport is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.2 runs on average over those games. As for Beggs, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-8 record this season.

Davenport has already played their next contest, a 5-4 victory against Kellyville on the 11th. As for Beggs, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 7-5 win against Dewar on the 11th.
