Earle hadn't done well against Des Arc recently (they were 0-7 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Bulldogs narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Eagles 26-24. This was payback for the Bulldogs, who suffered a 44-8 loss the last time these two teams met.

Earle's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Des Arc, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.
