Football Game Preview: Glencoe-Silver Lake Panthers vs. Dassel-Cokato Chargers

The Glencoe-Silver Lake Panthers are taking a road trip to take on the Dassel-Cokato Chargers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Dassel-Cokato took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Glencoe-Silver Lake, who comes in off a win.

On Wednesday, Glencoe-Silver Lake didn't have too much trouble with Watertown-Mayer as they won 34-19.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 42 points the game before, Dassel-Cokato was a bit more limited in their contest on Wednesday. They were beaten by Litchfield 38-8. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Chargers have suffered since November 23, 2024.

Glencoe-Silver Lake's win bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Dassel-Cokato, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-3.

Glencoe-Silver Lake was dealt a bruising 42-14 loss at the hands of Dassel-Cokato when the teams last played back in September of 2024. Thankfully for the Panthers, Caleb Smock (who rushed for 193 yards and three scores while picking up 8.8 yards per carry, and also picked up 37 receiving yards) won't be suiting up this time.
