Soccer Recap: Banks County Comes Up Short

Banks County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was the White County Warriors who were credited with the victory. The White County Warriors got it done in the shootout by posting five goals to the Banks County Leopards' four. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Banks County of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2023.

Their goal came courtesy of Josue Zelaya, who's now up to four this season.

Banks County's loss dropped their record down to 3-13. As for White County, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-7.

Banks County will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on North Hall at 7:30 p.m. on April 17, 2026. White County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
