Soccer Game Preview: Oak Park vs. Camarillo

The Oak Park Eagles will head out on the road to square off against the Camarillo Scorpions at 7:15 a.m. on Monday.

Oak Park is looking to tack another W on to their season record, something they couldn't quite do against Royal on Wednesday. Both finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last game, Camarillo made sure to put some goals up on the board against Simi Valley on Friday. They never let the Pioneers onto the board and left with a 7-0 victory. The Scorpions might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by four goals or more this season.

Camarillo is also on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-5-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 21 goals over those five games. Oak Park's draw makes their record 2-10-1 this season.

Oak Park suffered a grim 4-0 defeat to Camarillo when the teams last played two weeks ago. Can Oak Park avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
