Soccer Recap: M.L. King Has No Trouble Against Stephenson

M.L. King made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Stephenson, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Lions blew past the Jaguars 8-2 on Monday. The result was nothing new for M.L. King, who have now won four matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

Their offense was hitting Stephenson from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Roger Balogelwa led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for four goals all by himself.

M.L. King's victory bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Stephenson, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season.

M.L. King does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Stephenson, they will square off against Miller Grove at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Stephenson will be up against Miller Grove's rather soft defense (which has allowed 4.5 goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
